Our Story

Meet Sushovan

As a baby he loved cerelac
And crawling under the bed
And once he ate a hot pepper that made his mouth swell up all red

Meet Rishika

As a baby she was quiet
Wouldn't sleep alone at night
Collected red berries
Loved the christmas merries

Meet Sushovan at school

He hated sports and studied hard
For the merit card
He used to frequently lose his eraser
Unknowingly, just like her
He was good in science and bad in PT
Oh well, he was pretty witty!

Meet Rishika at school

She studied, not that hard
Never aimed to get the merit card
Famous Five, Harry Potter and Nancy Drew
Were her favourite books, to name a few

Sushovan is off to undergrad

Away from his family for the first time
He is forced to stay up all night
And avoided fight
He is up in the rafters focusing lights on the stage
What a pity, at this age

Loved the independence
Would have nearly 100% attendance
Studied like a good girl
In frocks, she would love to twirl

Sushovan is off to Hyderabad and then PhD in ASU

He worked at Microsoft Paint for a while
Then he started doing PhD, for which he waited
Living in Arizona with a scorpion, who he dated ;)

Rishika is off for her Masters and PhD

She was single,
That’s coz, she didn’t want to mingle
She likes pirating TV shows and movies and eating chinese food
Oh,… And her mood…

He works at YouTube and gets a pay
To watch cat videos all day
Something, he feels, is missing from his life
Maybe, … a wife?

They meet

She is sitting at home one day
He comes over, leaving his work at Bay…
They go out for lunch
Talk a bunch…
They skype, they chat
And talk about cat…
Somehow they seem to get along
She feels together they belong

A proposal

He proposes to her, out of the blue
She was so happy, though had no clue…
From that day they are happily engaged,
What follows next, is an open stage….
